Can we repay God?

A person’s kind deeds and empathy is not a favor to God that would merit them rewards or blessings but should be looked as compensation for one’s past wrongs and as a form of gratitude to the past blessings He has bestowed upon you.

Sometimes our gratitude via our kindness opens the windows of heaven for our blessings.

I pray our motives of kindness be moved by our gratitude because,

‘In the eyes of the sovereign Judge the merit of our actions depends on the motives which prompted them.’

(Pope St. Gregory the Great)

God does not live on favors from people. But people live on His favors.
Blessings received now are yet to be paid for. All kindness you show to others is your reciprocity to His past mercies.

This simply tells, man could not do enough to repay God of His kindness yet in His majesty and love He renews our blessings everyday.
