Today on our Music Corner, we have featured “The Sojourners” from Rusangu University Monze main campus. Moved by the title of their first ever album “PEPENI”, our editorial chief hosted Collins on our online interview. Collins, a leading member of this group, who is otherwise known as Diamond in social spaces for his similar facial features with Tanzania’s circular musical celebrity “Diamond Platinums,” told MuAfrica that “This group was organized way back in February 2014.” He further expressed that the group was birthed so that to give a platform to Rusangu University students who felt music is also a vehicle for spreading the good news to the world.
Sojourners is a Seventh Day Adventist Church oriented musical group with approximately thirty active members. The group is scheduled to launch its first ever album “PEPENI ” on 6th October, 2019, at Rusangu University main campus in Monze as details hold in the picture.
We invite you all from every part of our country to attend this would be remarkably glorious album launch. As Sojourners’ motto goes “feel free,” feel free to contact numbers in the picture for more information on the group’s imminent event.
