Birthday Wishes

Friendship may have so many meanings but I have my own personalized meaning for it. Looking at friendship through the lenses of our shared past, I simply say friendship is family that has lost its temper.
Our past bears witness that we don’t have to share blood relations to be called family. It is the going throughs in the experience called life, which define family. We have been each other’s human stronghold in every step of the way.
And today, on this special singular moment of life, I look at everything we have been through together: the joys and sorrows, gains and losses and pleasure and pain. These are experiences that have matured our long standing bond of friendship into brotherhood.
I couldn’t reflect on your birthday and the joy it brings better than wishing you God’s choicest blessings. May the best of your past be the worst of your future; happy birthday to you.
