Young People Shaping Zambia

The efforts of young people aimed at changing communities cannot go unnoticed. Muafrica today speaks to Sepiso Ndunda, a project manager for the newbie NGO “Change Movers Foundation.”
Sepiso said:
The foundation has three co-founders who include Mwape Bwalya, Timothy chitupila and I. As youths, we have different passions and visions. Mwape has a passion of exposing talent and developing individuals who have potential to do great. Timothy has a strong stance against youths dropping out of school due to avoidable circumstances such as teenage pregnancies and I have a passion for the right to education for the african child. So we decided to collaborate and form a team. we registered the N.G.O on 7th february 2019. We deal with humanities and Health education.
Our objectives are to sensitize youths on early marriages
• The effects of early marriages and how they can prevent/ avoid early marriages.
(b)Advocate for the right to education for children.
• Provide school learning materials e.g. books, school uniforms to children of
underprivileged families.
(c) Provide assistance to small scale farmers with the aim of alleviating poverty.
My word to youths: it’s high time youths all over the world realized that for change to happen in their communities, they have to take action and be the change themselves. Youths have the power to make a difference because they are the “change” we are “change movers” because we are the difference and we are ” moving the difference in the lives of people.
As Muafrica team, we are unreservedly proud to showcase what young people are doing for themselves to the world.
