Two Faces of a Coin

Each disappointment is born of expectation
Each mistake hungers for correction.
Each scar has its story.
Every tear has its echo.
Each heartbreak holds memories
Each woman’s heart is but
A deep ocean of secrets;
Each man’s heart is
A bed of unquenchable desires.

Each has their demons
For even priesthood has attitude
Why point at a prostitute.
Life is but a succession
Of good and evil
Ours a duty always
Is to learn and manage
Our demons:
The unforgiving spirits
And unmanaged zips
And loose skirts.
